位于吉隆坡的Park Royal酒店将在这个五月的11号直六月10号, 慎重邀请大马的娘惹烹饪大师, Chef Debbie Teoh在Chatz Brasserie为大家呈现丰盛的娘惹自助餐, 烹饪示范和满满互动的父子烹饪班, 也为将庆祝的母亲节的妈妈们来个惊喜!
纯娘惹Chef Debbie Teoh来自马六甲, 在食品工业里有丰厚的15年经验, 大马北南部的娘惹烹饪都难不倒她! 而且她不只是厨师, 还是位美食家, 娘惹食谱作者和大马娘惹美食文化代言人, 等等. Chef Debbie也写了好几本名著烹饪食谱如'UNDERWRAPS', 'ASIAN TITBITS', 'PENANG FOOD'槟城美食指南, 娘惹食谱'NYONYA FLAVOURS' 等作品.
听了这番介绍, 大家是不是更不容错过这一次的娘惹美食节呢?!
当晚ahtee有机会尝试了好几道Chef Debbie Teoh的作品, 真的让我大开眼界, 如果您也想体会一下传统的娘惹烹饪, 还有许多各种不同的佳肴等着你!!!
Nasi Ulam
选用了各种香料如香茅, 砂姜, 黄姜, 南姜, 姜花等等捞拌的Nasi Ulam, 是您想象不到的香气配搭, 而我相信准备这道拌饭的最大功夫, 就是必须把所有材料都很细腻的切成幼丝!
Itek Tim [Savoury Duck Soup with Salted Mustard Vegetables]
火候十足的鸭肉咸菜汤, 加上洋葱的香味和胡椒调味, 一碗是不够的!!
Ayam Buah Keluak
具有传统娘惹代表性的一道佳肴, 选用了独特的Buah Keluak配搭鸡肉来烹饪, 味道相当独到, 第一次尝试Buah Keluak, 味道还有点相似黑豆鼓, 慢慢地重复品尝, 这道是好吃的..
Terung dengan Sambal Udang Kering
熟度刚好, 软度适中的茄子, 配上香气扑鼻的虾米叁巴, 肯定让你大口扒饭!
Kacang Botol dan Daun Pudina dengan Sambal [Ulam Platter]
Chef Debbie再三强调, 享用黄瓜或四角豆时都一定要配搭薄荷叶和叁巴, 这一试, 果然让我的味蕾有一大惊喜, 叁巴独特的虾米香加上薄荷香, 停不了口!!
Chunky Seafood Otak-otak with Fish Fillet, Prawns and Squid
相比于平时我们吃过的Otak-otak, 这道真的是材料十足!
里头新鲜的鱼肉, 虾仁和鱿鱼, 不但让口感加分, 包含的椰浆味也浓而不腻
Gulai Tumis Ikan Pari
咖喱魔鬼鱼, 相比自家烹饪的, 这道多了几分香气, 相信就只有一个原因, 就是不吝啬的香料添加
Lemak Nenas Ikan Sepat
浓郁的椰浆咖喱配搭黄梨和咸鱼, 也是具独特风味的一道
看似简单的煎鱼, 但沾着酱料来吃, 感觉就是不一样!

当然少不了, 传统的娘惹糕点为甜品

For Mother's Day on 13May, bring your family to dine to a delicious spread of Nyonya cuisine. Mother's Day Brunch is priced at RM 68++ per adult and RM 34++ per child. With an additional RM 10, fathers and kids can cook for mothers in a cooking session assisted by Chef Debbie. This will be an experience to take home.
